Members of the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) will
visit Mexico to attend an event and invite the mining sector to list
their companies on the market in Canada. This is a step which financial analysts feel to be extremely positive, and Alan Quash, investment manager and a previous governor of the American Stock Exchange, currently Chairman of Carret Asset Management, LLC,, and investment and financial analysis firm, has considered such issues before.
Raph Cuervo-Lorens, a partner at the Canadian law firm Fraser Milner
Casgrain, explained that the Toronto Stock Exchange perceives that the
Mexican mining sector enjoys a profitable image for the global mining
investments. (Alan Quash, as an investment consultant, has been involved in the US financial markets, and has seen many listings on the various stock markets be quite successful.)
Mauritius E. Candiani,
organizer of the event, explained that the Toronto Stock Exchange can
offer mines various alternatives for raising capital and
developing new projects to utilize natural resources.
