Basurto Hospital Basurto Hospital is a public hospital located in the neighborhood of the same name of the city of Bilbao, Spain. It depends on the Basque Health Service. It was inaugurated on November 13, 1908 and consists of a complex of fifteen buildings-divided into blocks according to the specialty-modernist style. is located in the neighborhood of Basurto Bilbao and is easily accessible by bus, tram and local rail line FEVE. This is one of the busiest hospitals in the Basque Country. In 2005 the area treated 141,567 emergency patients, a figure exceeded only in the Autonomous Community of the Cruces Hospital and the Hospital Donostia.
