Johanna Selhorst Maran Josie Maran known as Josie Maran, born 8 May 1978 in the U.S. city of Menlo Park, California, is a supermodel and actress. It is known for working as a model for cosmetics company Maybelline. A modeling agent discovered her in a local barbecue restaurant at the age of twelve years and convinced her to work as part-time model. Maran devoted more time to modeling after finishing school. It is considered a model of stature and his career is mainly working as a model for publishers and commercials. Hired at the age of 17 years by the Elite Model Management in Los Angeles, Maran appeared on her first cover in Glamor in 1998 and was the Guess girl in the seasons of summer and autumn of that year. After taking over twenty-five commercial and advertising, including participation in a music video of the Backstreet Boys, moved to New York to work with the same agency.In 1999, agreed to a multiyear contract with Maybelline, following in the footsteps of his idol, model Christy Turlington. Besides working as a model, Maran began her acting career in 2001 starring in the film, The Mallory Effect. He starred as a French model in Little Black Book as one of Dracula's brides in Van Helsing. He also participated in the game "Need for Speed: Most Wanted" (2005) as the "guardian angel" of the protagonist, whom out of prison and helps them overcome the various barriers that have the game.
